Terra Compass Sourcing privacy policy

Information in your procurement request

The enquiry form asks for your name, work email and purchasing requirements. Phone and company details may be provided voluntarily. Requirements can include product specifications, quantity, destination, timing, budget and supplier preference. Submit information relevant to a business purchasing discussion and avoid payment credentials, account passwords or sensitive personal information.

How requirements are used

Procurement information is intended to support requirement review, supplier matching and discussion of comparable factory offers. Details relevant to the requested product may need to be shared with candidate suppliers or service participants so they can answer technical, packing, quotation and delivery questions. A buyer preference describes procurement priorities rather than a public supplier rating.

Use the contact channel if a specification is confidential or should be handled under a separate agreement before circulation. The website form does not offer document uploads. Any later exchange of drawings or project records should identify its purpose and the parties authorized to receive it.

Browser storage and site operation

The sourcing-support popup stores its display timestamp in local storage and uses session storage to remember a dismissed ticker. The display interval is at most seven days before another automatic presentation becomes eligible. These controls support the site's presentation behavior; they are not evidence that a procurement request was submitted. Clearing browser storage resets the local presentation record.

Form preferences are combined into the existing requirements field during browser submission. The visible requirements text remains as written by the buyer. Without JavaScript, include budget and supplier preference directly in that text. The site uses external Bootstrap resources to display navigation and dialogs, so the browser requests those assets from the named resource provider.

Accuracy, access and correction

Provide a working email and current purchasing details so clarification can be directed appropriately. Use the enquiry form to request correction, clarification or removal of information associated with a prior request. Identify the business email and enough context to locate the request without sending unnecessary sensitive details.

Scope and retention questions

This policy describes the intended website enquiry workflow and the browser storage visible in the supplied templates. A fixed retention period and additional operational contact channels are not published here. Ask about the handling required for your project before sending restricted information. Third-party reference websites follow their own privacy terms. Changes to the enquiry workflow may require an updated policy, and the revision date above identifies this version.
